Dornbirn: Cross-country skiing

Cross-country skiing enthusiasts who want to hit the trails with the "3 Täler Pass" can do so in many of the connected ski areas. In Damüls-Mellau (43 km from Dornbirn), a total of 36.5 kilometres of cross-country trails await. The Stofel high-altitude trail in Damüls and the long valley trails in Mellau are particularly popular with fans of Nordic skiing.

A real insider tip for cross-country skiers is also the Warth-Schröcken ski area (56 km) on the Arlberg, where a total of 17 km of cross-country trails are groomed between the villages of Warth and Schröcken. In the "3 Täler Pass" region, this is only surpassed by the cross-country ski trails around Balderschwang (34 km) in the Allgäu. The network of trails there stretches for no less than 120 km! The absolute highlight is the 41 km long "Allgäuer-Latschenkiefer-Grenzlandloipe", which leads all the way to Austria.
