Cross-country fans will find massive cross-country networks in with easy to difficult trails, all of which are waiting to be tested out during your ski holiday. The absolute no. 1 cross-country region is the Hochpustertal, with over 200 km of trails that are geared for beginners and pros alike. Professional training is also possible in the resorts of Sexten, Innichen and Toblach. Numerous practice trails and at least as many FIS trails can be found in the "Nordic Arena" in Toblach, also known as the "Tour de Ski" world championships host city. As part of the "Dolomiti Nordicski," Hochpustertal belongs to Europe's largest cross-country carousel and is an absolute cult hit. Alternatively in Fiames (Cortina d'Ampezzo), you'll find connection to the 200 km long Four-Country-Trail (Carinthia - East Tyrol - Southern Tyrol - Veneto). Nature-lovers in particular will certainly get their money's worth and can enjoy breathtaking views of the gorgeous landscape. The Ridnauntal offers cross-country possibilities for all skill levels, and around Sterzing, you'll find 31.5 km of trails. A further highlight for your winter holiday are the trails around the Kronplatz. An outstanding collection of 175 km of trails, some of which are located in St. Lorenzen, don't just get cross-country fans' hearts pumping, but also skating fans'! Ambitious skiers have the opportunity to improve their skills in the entire region around the Seiser Alm and in the Pustertal. On the Hochalm, at an altitude of 2,018 m, are trails of which make up the training district of the national teams. In January, the Pustertal invites winter sports fans to take part in the year-round ski marathon and pump up your adrenaline on the world championship trail, Valtellina in Santa Caterina.
