Information on cross-country skiing

125 km Cross-country trails (in km):

Several attractive cross-country ski trails run through the approx. 40 km long Zillertal. With a total length of 125 km of trails, the well-kept cross-country ski trail network is perfect for pleasurable Nordic skiing experience through the valley.

With a total of 53 kilometres of trails, the first holiday region in the Zillertal between Fügen, Kaltenbach, Strass, Stumm and Uderns is a fantastic cross-country skiing area for Nordic sports enthusiasts. Along the tracks of the Zillertal railway and the riverbed of the Ziller, the 10 km long promenade trail between Kaltenbach and Aschau is highly recommended.

Even cross-country skiers with good physical condition can let off steam in Zillertal: Hochfügen has a challenging high-altitude trail with a length of 9 km, and several great panoramic trails can be found near Tux at the other end of the valley. In Uderns you can even go cross-country skiing by night on a trail illuminated by floodlight.

One thing is certain: Zillertal has the right track for every type of cross-country skier.
