Location

The inviting smartHotel is located right in the centre of Dorfgastein, just 500 m from the Dorfgastein cable cars. A practice lift is just 300 metres away. The ski bus (possibly for a fee) stops approx. 10 metres from the hotel. The entrance to the cross-country ski trail is about 500 metres away.

Facilities

The modern hotel consists of a main building and an adjoining building approx. 100 m away and has a reception, lobby, lounge, lift, Wi-Fi, restaurant, hotel bar, children's playground (use subject to weather conditions) and a ski storage room with ski boot dryer. There is free parking, subject to availability.

You can use the relaxation area with sauna, Finnish sauna and infrared cabin free of charge. Massages are available for a fee (see information on site).

Board

Depending on the room type or board type booked, the price of the holiday includes no board, breakfast or half board. The breakfast option includes an extensive breakfast buffet. When booking a room type with half board, a 3-course evening meal is also included. If there are fewer than 10 guests in the booked travel period, an à la carte 2-course menu will be served in the hotel or in the partner restaurant Eggerwirt. A 4-course gala menu is included at Christmas and a 5-course New Year's Eve gala menu is included on New Year's Eve. For stays of 5 nights or more, you will also receive a bottle of Prosecco per room.

Important notes

  • No lift pass voucher is issued for children aged 5 and under, they ride the ski swing in Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski area and the Rauchleiten tow lift free of charge when accompanied by their parents. If your child uses the lifts independently, a Minicard (lift pass) must be purchased on site.
  • Please note that the lift in Dorfgastein will be closed from 30/03 to 06/04/2025 due to renovation work. You are welcome to use the neighbouring ski area in Bad Hofgastein (about 9 km away) during this time. This is already included in the "Ski amadé" lift pass. You can collect your lift pass from the lift ticket office in Bad Hofgastein using the lift pass voucher. The vouchers are only accepted in printed paper format.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
